The world's gone greyscale.
I dunno about you but I've been watching the content-creation world for a long time. I've been writing for a long time, and reading it for longer. I spend way too much time on X-Twitter and other sites.
I have to, I built my business there, built a 100,000+ account there, earned over $100,000, made friends with A-List copywriters, email marketers, authors and more...
...but lately I've wanted to just...
Jack it all in!
Delete my X-Twitter account
Delete my Gmail account
Throw my phone out a window
and go live in a cabin in the woods.
(Or at least my cabin in the garden.)
Because these days everyone online is just so...
...boring.
There's a sea of sludge on social media. A mountain of meh with a molehill of meaning. It's like the whole world's gone greyscale, like everyone simultaneously lost their doggone shines, like the memo went out to stop being fun.
Nobody's interesting any more.
Nobody stands out.
They all sound the same.
Including you, dear reader. And I hate to break it to you but you can't build anything if you don't learn to fix that.
Until you do, you're just treading water in the sea of content slop, utterly indistinguishable from everyone around you.
And that means that
NOBODY
is listening to you!
Nobody is listening because you sound the same as everyone else.
Nobody is listening because nobody knows what makes you, you.
Nobody is listening because you never learned how to stand out.
And when nobody listens, nobody acts. Nobody buys. Nobody remembers. And you're just wasting your time.
And time is the one thing you'll never have enough of.
For one thing, AI is a real and present danger. Not to great writers who know how to stand out and sound different. But to anyone who's generating the same-sounding stuff that everyone is used to? Well, AI does a decent job of delivering that bland and boring contentslop...
...only it does it a heckuva lot faster than any human can type (even me.)
That's why whenever you scroll your social media feed you see content creators crapping themselves about CrapGPT and the like.
They're terrified. And they should be. Because bland and boring is bound for the bin. They have no voice, no style, no pizzazz. And the honest truth is that
If you sound like a robot...
...robots can replace you!
threat of AI-generated contentslop? Well...
